Kidz Kollege's Heartwarming 5 Love Languages Week Valentine's Celebration
We are delighted to reflect on the heartwarming moments that unfolded at Kidz Kollege on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2022. Our primary focus was to nurture the bonds between children, parents, and grandparents by exploring the concept of the Five Love Languages.
In the spirit of love, we introduced this concept to our community, emphasizing the various ways we can express love and affection: Physical Touch, Gifts, Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, and Quality Time.
Our school warmly welcomed parents and grandparents throughout the day, offering them a unique opportunity to connect with their children through a variety of heartwarming activities.
Upon arrival, parents and grandparents engaged in a Love Language quiz to identify their child's primary Love Language, providing insights for effective connection and nurturing.
Massage Station: Parents and children experienced the joy of giving and receiving soothing massages, fostering a touching bonding experience.
Cuddle Box: A cozy space for parents and children to share precious moments of cuddling, creating lasting memories.
Art Station: Families collaborated to create beautiful artworks, using art as a medium to convey love and affection.
Cooking Station: Parents and children teamed up to prepare sandwiches, promoting unity and the joy of sharing a meal.
Lemonade Corner: This station was bustling with activity as everyone enjoyed making refreshing lemonade together, enhancing the sense of togetherness.
Words of Affirmation Bridge: An engaging activity where parents and children crossed a symbolic bridge adorned with words of encouragement, highlighting the importance of positive communication and compliments in relationships.
Mirror Station: Children explored their reflections in mirrors while reading words of affirmation with their parents and grandparents.
Hands-On Activities: These activities encouraged families to work together, using cups and straws to pick up balls and hearts, strengthening their bond through cooperation.
Reading Pool: Parents were seen diving into the "reading pool" with their children, enjoying books together. Hanging books were plucked and shared, creating unforgettable reading moments.
Doll Care: Parents and children lovingly cared for dolls, imparting valuable lessons about nurture and gentleness.
Throughout the day, families captured beautiful moments, especially at our photo booth with the theme "LOVE IS A GOOD IDEA," ensuring that this special day would be forever etched in their hearts.
Our Valentine's Day celebration was a resounding success, bearing witness to the profound love and connection between our children and their families. At Kidz Kollege, we are committed to nurturing not only young minds but also the precious bonds that strengthen families.
❤️ The 5 Love Languages theory posits that we all express love and experience it in the same five ways: Physical touch, gifts, words of affirmation, acts of service, and quality time. However, everyone has one primary way that matters most.
Understanding the 5 love languages, particularly in the context of our children, equips us with specific behaviours to help our children feel loved and improve their mood. In other words, knowing your child's love language empowers you to connect with them in remarkable ways.
It is vital to provide love and affection to children, as it is essential for their healthy brain development. How children feel about themselves, their confidence, and their ability to cope with stress are all influenced by how parents respond to them.

Parents were encouraged to:
In conclusion, always remember that as parents, you are doing your best, and we see "THE WORLD'S BEST PARENT IN YOU."
Kidz Kollege emphasizes to make it a habit to provide a dose of all the 5 Love Languages every day.
Love was in the air as parents and children came together to celebrate this event. We were reminded that love should never be taken for granted; it's something we learn by sharing it.
This event showcased superb parental involvement. Despite the demands of daily life, parents actively participated, emphasizing the importance of quality time spent together.
Meaningful connections with children are vital. Prioritizing these connections contributes to children's growth into responsible adults.
As we look back on this wonderful event, we are reminded of the strong and caring community we have at Kidz Kollege.
