Parents play the most important role in shaping the life of the child. Their future is often greatly influenced by the dreams and ambitions of their parents. However, this does not mean that the parents should decide their future. The reason behind the increasing popularity of significant parenting workshops in Kidz Kollege is to guide the parents in the right way of supporting their children's development.
Our annual Health Camp theme for this year was "Inside out valentine - The missing priority" elevating the importance of emotional lives of children, as emotions and memories help make us who we are. The camp shed light on the holistic wellbeing of a child, while focusing on awareness of Emotional Health which is of outmost importance for a healthy and happy child.
Children need emotional stability in order to feel happy and safe. They also need it - TO LEARN. The emotional security of a child is a prerequisite for any further learning. It is connected to their parents' emotional stability - parents are role models who serve as their children's first sources of support in becoming independent and leading healthy and successful lives. This includes reaching developmental and emotional milestones, learning healthy social skills and how to cope when there are problems. Emotionally healthy children have a positive quality of life and function well at home, in school and in their communities.
